Start of the Nursery

 For the time being our daughter and son will share a room.

The baby will not be using this room to actually sleep in till he is at least 6 months old.  We will be using the changing area of course, and needing the space for keeping his clothes/diapers/burp cloths/bibs/ etc.

We got a start on the room last week.  We mainly just CLEANED the room because it was in sorry shape with all our daughter's toys and "collections."  So as of right now, the room is just the furniture arrangement.  We will work on decorating after Christmas.

This is our daughter's side (with the changing table in the middle)

We want to get some type of short bookcase for the end of her bed to keep her things in.

This is the baby's side of the room.  The white cabinet is his own mini closet.

Alyssa gets the entire closet (not pictured) to herself for her clothes, toys, and blankets.  A childproof lock will be added to the closet once the baby gets to be mobile.  This way she has a place to keep all her things and the baby can't get to them.
