How Big Is Carter?

After school today (over a special ice cream desert snack she earned for getting a 102% on her spelling test! Wahoo!), Alyssa asked me: "How big is Carter?"

I said - about 2 lbs.

Then I thought, she has no idea what that means (she's 6 1/2 yrs old).

So I went into the pantry to find something that was around 2 lbs for her to actually hold and see.  

A BAG OF RICE was exactly 2 lbs.

Perfect

She says to me "He's heavy!"

Haha!  Yeah, you are tell me kiddo!

She then held the bag up to my stomach to compare the sizes, and she says "yep, looks about right."

HAHA!

She's so funny, she makes us laugh all the time.
